As the education arm of ViTrox Corporation, ViTrox Academy stands at the forefront of future-ready education in Malaysia, committed to developing digitally savvy talent through values-based and industry-aligned learning.
Through this collaboration, ViTrox Academy will strategically embed the internationally recognised ICDL certification programme across multiple initiatives, including integration into its Diploma in Business Studies curriculum, offered via intensive bootcamp modules, and inclusion in corporate training programmes.
Students in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) will also benefit from ICDL programmes, ensuring that learners from all backgrounds gain access to digital skills aligned with national and global standards, as part of the commitment by ViTrox Academy towards delivering added value and future-ready skills for its learners.
Dr Janaka Low, Principal of ViTrox Academy, shared his thoughts on the importance of digital literacy in today’s world: “The illiterate today will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who fail to use digital technology effectively.” His statement reflects the institution’s strong belief in equipping learners with relevant digital capabilities that go beyond conventional academic metrics.

Ts. Dr. Derick Teoh, Head of School for the School of Industrial Management, also emphasised the personal transformation that comes with mastering digital skills. “A better self starts from ICDL,” he remarked.
