
The ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2025 has concluded with resounding success, marking another milestone for this prestigious annual digital competition in the Asia Pacific region.
Since its inception in 2017, the competition has grown into one of the most anticipated regional platforms celebrating digital excellence among students. Focused on practical digital competencies, the challenge equips participants with essential skills that support their academic growth, further studies, and future career pathways. Through tasks aligned with the global digital economy, students engage with emerging technologies, digital design, and essential productivity tools — developing real-world capabilities that prepare them to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Open to students in the Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary categories in Business, Design and Emerging Technologies Tracks, the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2025 continues the mission to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment while encouraging digital proficiency at every educational level. This reinforces our commitment to advancing digital literacy from early education to professional application.
Over the past eight months, from March to October 2025, the competition brought together more than 13,000 students from over 230 schools and institutions across 13 territories, including Bhutan, Brunei, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. The strong participation reflects the growing recognition of the competition’s role in nurturing future-ready digital talents and empowering young learners with the competencies essential for success in the modern world.
This year’s winners demonstrated outstanding creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise across various competition tracks. Their achievements highlight the increasing importance of digital literacy and serve as a source of inspiration for students across Asia to embrace innovation and excellence in the digital era.
