
China, October 14, 2025 – The second edition of ICDL Asia Digital Educators’ Awards (DEA) was presented during the ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2025, recognising educators who have excelled in integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into their teaching practices.
The award presentation was presented by Mr. Luke Greene, Market Executive, Enterprise Ireland, Mr. Bi Qiang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General, China Occupational Safety and Health Association (COSHA), and Mr. Tao Yusheng, Executive Vice Chairman, Jiangsu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Association, during the conference.
Designed to motivate educators throughout the Asia Pacific region, the competition sought to highlight innovative practices in teaching, learning, and assessment using ICT. Participants were encouraged to draw on insights from the ICDL ICT in Education module to propose creative solutions that improve the quality and inclusiveness of education.
This year, educators from China and Vietnam participated in the competition. The award winners were able to present their teaching methodology and ICT strategies during the DEA session. These demonstrations emphasised how ICT and technology can boost student engagement, enhance teaching effectiveness, and create better learning environment.
