Chiang Mai, Thailand- 18 November 2025- ICDL Asia is pleased to share that Montfort College has officially joined our network as the newest Accredited Test Centre (ATC) in Thailand. This milestone marks a significant step forward in transforming the future of Thailand’s education landscape.
The Grand Open Ceremony recognising Montfort College as Thailand’s first secondary school to become an Accredited Test Centre (ATC) was held at the Andre Gymnasium in Montfort College on 18 November 2025.
Distinguished guests Dr. Sarawut Yuchumphu, Deputy Director of Montfort College, and Dr. Warintorn Wasuwat, Assistant Academic Director and Head of the English Programme, graced the ceremony.
This recognition acknowledges Montfort College’s commitment to elevating technology and innovative learning. It will integrate ICDL’s globally benchmarked standards to ensure that students are equipped with essential digital competencies for the workplace.
After the ceremony, teachers from the Montfort AEC Digital Innovation group
conducted engaging sessions on Drone Technology (UAV) and MR Tech (Mixed Reality), allowing participants to explore hands-on activities. The AEC Digital Innovation team also received Drone Licence Engineering certification to further support students interested in engineering and future technical projects.
By implementing ICDL’s internationally recognised standards, Montfort College reinforces its dedication to equipping students with future-ready digital skills. Through this partnership, ICDL Asia and Montfort College collaborate to empower learners, educators, and the wider educational community in Thailand.
