Hong Kong SAR, January 2026 – ICDL Asia successfully concluded a digital skills training project for China Aircraft Services Limited (CASL) between August and November 2025. Conducted at CASL’s operations hub at Hong Kong International Airport, the initiative supported the one of the largest commercial aircraft maintenance companies in Hong Kong SAR in its ongoing digital transformation by enhancing the digital competencies of its staff.
The programme was delivered by International ICT Logbook, an ICDL Accredited Test Centre (ATC) in Hong Kong SAR. The training covered three ICDL modules, namely Computer & Online Essentials, Spreadsheets, and Cyber Security to equip CASL’s staff with practical digital skills and up-to-date cyber awareness. All participants successfully passed the certification assessments and were awarded with ICDL certification for the selected modules upon completion of the programme.

Delivered through weekly two-hour sessions, the training was fully aligned with ICDL international digital standards and learning outcomes in ensuring a practical and workplace-relevant learning experience. Emphasis was placed on strengthening proficiency in English-based software applications and raising awareness of current cyber security practices.
The success of the training was reflected in positive feedback. Mr. Phil Roberts, Head of Supply Chain Management of CASL shared, ‘ICDL Asia delivered clear, structured, and highly relevant training for our warehouse operations team. Their approach made complex cybersecurity concepts practical and easy to apply in a busy aviation environment. As cybersecurity becomes increasingly critical to safe and reliable operations, ICDL training has strengthened our team’s awareness and resilience. We’re pleased to have them as a trusted partner in our digital readiness journey.’
This initiative forms part of CASL’s broader workforce digital transformation strategy, aimed at improving operational effectiveness while reinforcing cyber security policies and procedures across the organisation. Further training initiatives will also be considered following CASL’s ongoing internal evaluation, reflecting its continued commitment to developing a digitally skilled and cyber-aware workforce.
We look forward to continuing our support for such training initiatives, helping more organisations in strengthening workforce digital capabilities, enhance cyber security awareness, and build resilience in an increasingly digital and technology-driven workplace.
