Ulaanbaatar, March 2026 — ICDL Asia welcomes the collaboration between Marshall Cavendish Education (MCE) and Singapore School of Mongolia (SSM) to strengthen digital literacy and computing education through the implementation of a structured curriculum aligned with ICDL internationally recognised digital literacy certification.
As an ICDL Accredited Test Centre (ATC), Marshall Cavendish Education plays an important role in supporting schools to align globally recognised digital competence standards into their teaching and learning practices. Through this collaboration with Singapore School of Mongolia, students will benefit from MCE’s Digital Literacy and Computing series (Stages 1–9), which provides a progressive learning pathway that incorporates ICDL’s globally recognised digital competence framework.
The alignment ensures that classroom learning is benchmarked against international standards while supporting the development of practical and transferable digital skills. By embedding ICDL concepts within the curriculum, students are equipped with essential digital competencies needed for academic success in the digital world.
Students at Singapore School of Mongolia will also have the opportunity to get certified with ICDL certification, enabling them to formally validate their digital competencies through an internationally recognised credential. Integrating certification opportunities within the curriculum enhances students’ academic portfolios and supports their readiness for further education and future employment in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
“This collaboration is a significant move forward, as digital literacy and computer education are crucial pillars for education today. The right foundation needs to be in place to empower schools in Mongolia to adopt a sustainable plan for learners. MCE will work closely with our partners to ensure that the solutions we provide are customized to the needs of Mongolian students and foster the joy of learning while prepping them for the 21st Century,” said Mr Soon Jinn Lim, Head of Marshall Cavendish Education.
“We are pleased to see schools in Mongolia strengthening digital literacy through globally recognised standards,” said Ms Tina Wu, Chief Executive of ICDL Asia. “Through partnerships like this, ICDL continues to support schools and students in Asia Pacific in developing the digital competencies needed to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.”
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment by ICDL Asia, Marshall Cavendish Education, and Singapore School of Mongolia to strengthen digital literacy education in Mongolia and empower students with the essential skills required to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
