Thailand – Pathumwan Institute of Technology, a public higher education institution specialising in engineering and applied technology, is partnering with ICDL, with the support of Digital Focus Co., Ltd. (ICDL Accredited Test Centre) to strengthen the development of digital and artificial intelligence (AI) competencies in Thailand. 

The collaboration brings together expertise from academia and industry to establish a structured approach to digital skills development, aligned with internationally recognised ICDL certification standards. The initiative aims to equip students and professionals with essential digital competencies, enhancing employability and supporting the nation’s digital transformation agenda. 

As part of this partnership, ICDL certification will play a key role in supporting the development and validation of digital skills through internationally benchmarked standards. This provides learners with recognised credentials that can enhance career opportunities while promoting greater digital inclusion. 

The collaboration will also support opportunities for students to gain practical industry experience through internships and exposure to emerging technologies such as AIoT, robotics, and automation. In addition, the partners will work together on curriculum development and applied research, ensuring alignment between academic programmes and evolving industry needs.
