ICDL Vietnam Showcases Digital Skills Pathways at Vietnam’s Education Technology and Digital Transformation Festival

Hanoi, Vietnam, May 2026 — ICDL Vietnam participated in the Education Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival for the 2025–2026 academic year, organised by Nam Tu Liem Secondary School in Hanoi. The event brought together more than 1,000 participants, including over 900 students, as well as teachers, parents, representatives from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DOET), and leading education and technology organisations to promote innovation and accelerate digital transformation in teaching and learning.

The festival provided an important platform for students and educators to explore emerging technologies, digital learning solutions, and internationally recognised digital skills programmes. Reflecting Vietnam’s continued focus on education innovation, the event highlighted the role of digital competencies in preparing learners for future academic and career success.

As part of the festival, ICDL Vietnam showcased the ICDL Digital Student programme through an interactive exhibition booth, introducing visitors to internationally recognised digital skills certification designed specifically for primary and secondary school students. Participants had the opportunity to experience sample ICDL assessments, explore structured digital learning pathways, and learn how ICDL certifications support the development of practical digital competencies from an early age.

The ICDL Digital Student programme equips learners with essential competencies in digital literacy, information and communication technology (ICT), and computer science, complementing national curricula while supporting the development of skills required for lifelong learning and the digital economy.

The strong interest from students, teachers, and parents throughout the festival reflects the growing recognition of structured digital skills development within Vietnam’s education sector. By providing internationally benchmarked learning and certification pathways, ICDL supports schools in preparing students to become confident, responsible, and future-ready digital citizens.

ICDL will continue to work closely with education partners across the region to strengthen digital competencies among young learners, supporting schools in preparing the next generation with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
