ICDL Asia is delighted to announce that Noble School of Engineering (NSE) has officially joined our global network as an Accredited Test Centre (ATC), expanding access to internationally recognised digital upskilling and certification for students and industrial trainees in Malaysia.
Established in 2002, NSE is an industry-oriented Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution based in Taiping, Perak, and is accredited by the Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK) under the Ministry of Human Resources (Kementerian Sumber Manusia, KESUMA).
NSE programmes are focused on developing skilled and industry-ready talent through practical training, in areas such as Automotive, Automation, and Welding, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning.
Through this partnership with ICDL, NSE is committed to providing its students with value-added digital skills alongside their technical and vocational training. As digitalisation continues to reshape industries, NSE recognises the importance of preparing learners with digital competencies in trending and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
As an ICDL Accredited Test Centre, NSE will provide its students and trainees with opportunities to develop and validate their digital competencies through ICDL certification. This will enable learners to complement their technical qualifications with internationally recognised digital skills, thus helping them build a broader skills profile for today’s increasingly competitive, technology-driven workplaces.
The integration of ICDL also supports the institution’s focus on employability. Learners will strengthen their capabilities and potentially improve their prospects for career progression as well as higher-value employment opportunities.
