Academic staff from the University of Central Asia certified as ICDL trainers 


June 8th, 2020 –  An ICDL Train The Trainer session was conducted in Afghanistan from May 16th to June 8th 2020. Eight staff members of the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE), University of Central Asia (UCA) participated in the 18-day teacher training session and were certified as ICDL Testers successfully.

The training was organised by Mr. Rahman Nazar Farhad, Head of SPCE Afghanistan and was delivered by Abdul Aziz Nazari, UCA’s ICDL Tester & Trainer. Mr. Omidullah Akbary, General Manager of Yasna Development & Support Organization (YDSO) joined in the training session and shared his experience and knowledge on the delivery of ICDL programmes  in Afghanistan. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic lock-down period, YDSO continues to offer ICDL testing and online training service to all accredited test centres in Afghanistan. We hope all learners in Central Asia can continue learning and benefit from ICDL during this pandemic period.
