BMA Community Development Volunteers (Technology Aspect) will be trained and certified with ICDL Digital Literacy Standards

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has recently announced the launch of a new community development volunteer digital training program in Bangkok. The initiative was unveiled by Mr Sanon Wangsrangboon, the Deputy Governor of Bangkok over the official launch of the digital training for community development volunteers on 26th February 26th, 2023.

This program aims to promote digital literacy and enhance digital proficiency among volunteers, ensuring effective volunteer work, and creating digital citizens who can make a positive contribution to Bangkok and the wider community. The program includes training and hands-on practice with the ICDL Digital Citizen module, which will equip volunteers with essential digital skills.

ICDL Thailand is enthusiastic about the potential impact of this program in transforming the volunteer community in Bangkok. We look forward to welcoming volunteers to enhance their digital skills proficiency while making a positive contribution to the community.
