ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2023 Award Winners


We are proud to announce the winners of the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2023, a prestigious competition that showcases the outstanding talents of secondary and tertiary school students across Asia in applying digital skills to the modern digital economy.  

This year marks the sixth edition of the competition since its inception in 2017. The journey has been nothing short of remarkable, with each year surpassing the last in terms of talent, enthusiasm, and innovation.  

This year, the competition reached new heights, attracting participation from over 10,000 students representing 13 diverse countries across Asia. These countries include Bhutan, Brunei, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.  

Over the last six months, contestants participated in one of the three competition tracks: Business, Design, and Emerging Technologies. They underwent three rigorous rounds of competition, each track challenging participants with emerging technologies, data analytics, 3D design, and the practical application of office productivity tools.

The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by educational institutions and students at the secondary and tertiary levels underscore the importance of digital literacy and innovation in today’s educational landscape. Spanning six months since the beginning of March, the culmination of this remarkable journey occurred on 7 September 2023 during the ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2023 with the momentous Digital Challenge Awards presentation took place both physically at the Singapore Institute of Management and virtually via Zoom. 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, Enterprise Ireland, Siemens, and Skillsbox, for their invaluable support that made this event possible. Their commitment to promote digital literacy and innovation is invaluable in empowering the youth of Asia with essential skills for the digital age.  

In addition, we would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our esteemed judges for the 3D Design Track and Emerging Technologies Track. Your expertise and dedication ensured the fairness and integrity of the competition, contributing significantly to the success of the competition.
