ICDL Asia signed an MoU with ACCA Vietnam in outreach efforts to ACCA members in Vietnam. The ceremony was held in conjunction with St Patrick’s Day and was witnessed by the Irish Minister of State for Procurement, Open Government and eGovernment, Mr. Patrick O’Donovan TD and Ambassador to Vietnam, Ambassador Cait Moran.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Minh Chau, Head of Mekong, ACCA Global, exchanged the MoU with Mr. Justin Seow Wensheng, Market Development Manager, ICDL Asia during the ceremony. Ms. Rachel Chee, Head of Education, ASEAN & ANZ at ACCA; Ms. Dao Mai Anh and Mr. Pham Hoang Cuong, ICDL Vietnam’s Chairman and Director respectively, and other executives of ACCA Vietnam also attended the ceremony.
ACCA Vietnam, together with ICDL Asia aims to provide a series of contextualized digital programmes for students and professionals who are looking to learn and enhance their digital skill sets in the new generation of accounting and financial career space.
The MoU allows ACCA Vietnam to offer ICDL Modules to ACCA’s members for the accumulation of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
The selected 4 ICDL modules are:
(1) Advanced Spreadsheet
(2) Advanced Presentation
(3) Online Collaboration
(4) IT Security
Following the successful collaboration between ICDL Asia and ACCA Singapore and Malaysia respectively, this cooperation in Vietnam will be another important milestone in digital skill for Vietnamese workforce in Industry 4.0.
