30th Oct 2019 – ICDL Asia’s General Manager, Ms Tina Wu, and Market Development Manager of China, Ms Chelsea Zhuang, visited Songshan Shaolin Wushu College in Henan, China. Ms Tina Wu presented ICDL Certifications to the teachers who have passed the ICDL Tests and completed the ICDL Teachers Training held in July this year, which was organized by National Centre for Educational Technology (NCET) under the Ministry of Education in China.
ICDL Asia had discussions with the management of Songshan Shaolin Wushu College on implementing ICDL modules in the schools’ public ICT course which will be made available to all students. The discussion ended in a positive note. Following on, Ms Tina Wu and Ms Chelsea Zhuang visited Henan office of Today Education, ICDL’s training partner in China, to discuss on the ICDL development and school implementation in Henan province with Zhang Yu, Today’s provincial General Manager and other ICDL project team members.
ICDL Asia hope to deliver international digital skills improvement and certification to more Henan students in the future.
