On 16 March 2022, the signing ceremony between Trevi STEM and ICDL Vietnam took place in Hanoi to officiate the comprehensive cooperation agreement between both parties.
Under this joint partnership, ICDL Vietnam and Trevi STEM aim to introduce and implement an innovative, practical and engaging STEM programme targeted at Vietnam high schools that combines theory and practice.
In this new programme, students will take the ICDL Digital Student Robotics module which introduces basic concepts and skills needed to assemble, programme and control a simple robot. The learning experience will be enhanced with Trevi STEM’s eco-friendly learning kits and education tools, allowing students to put their knowledge to practice.
Trevi STEM is a pioneer in offering learning materials and STEM toys made from eco-friendly materials such as bamboo. Trevi STEM recognises the importance of STEM education and aims to introduce green, modern and creative STEM education methods through its products. It was also one of the representative enterprises of Vietnam to participate in the Expo Dubai 2020.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan, General Director of ICDL Vietnam shared, “I believe that the comprehensive cooperation between Trevi STEM and ICDL will open up many opportunities and bring many values. ICDL has experience in implementing digital skills certificates globally, especially the Robotics program, which will be very suitable for Trevi STEM’s production”.
Ms. Do Minh Anh, Co-founder of Trevi STEM also shared: “Trevi STEM has made great efforts in creating STEM kits, which have been well-received by international partners. The cooperation between Trevi STEM and ICDL Vietnam will promote the development of Vietnam’s STEM education to the world”.
