Hanoi, October 27, 2023 – ICDL Vietnam have formally signed a strategic partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Academy of Finance (AOF) in Vietnam. This partnership aims to empower AOF students to enhance their employment prospects through digital literacy in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
The collaboration between ICDL Vietnam and Academy of Finance is set to be a game-changer in enhancing digital skills, empowering students to embrace digital transformation and broaden their employment prospects upon graduation. To specify the goals and operational plans for this partnership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Co, Director of the Academy of Finance and Ms. Dao Mai Anh, General Director of ICDL Vietnam have formalised the agreement to establish an accredited test center and provide the curriculum and training program for the “Digital Marketing Expert” related certification.
ICDL is a globally recognised certification program for digital competence standards and has a strong reputation for aligning with the Ministry of Information and Communication’s (MIC) stipulated ICT skill requirements in Vietnam. To date, the certification is acknowledged in more than 100 countries and territories, making it the most widely used certification in the world. Available in localised 41 languages with over 24,000 testing centers, ICDL has awarded certificates to over 17 million individuals.
Academy of Finance (AOF) stands as a leading institution in the field of economics, offering high-quality education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in disciplines such as finance, accounting, and business administration. AOF is committed to establishing connections and partnerships with international educational organisations, including prestigious institutions like Leeds Beckett University, University of Gloucestershire, University of Greenwich, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), CPA Australia, and more.
