ICDL Asia is delighted to welcome PERSOL WORKS DESIGN CO., LTD., to join us as our newest Accredited Test Centre (ATC) in Japan! On 14 December 2022, ICDL Asia signed the ATC Agreement with PERSOL WORKS DESIGN Co., LTD. at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence, witnessed by Ambassador to Japan, His Excellency Mr. Damien Cole, and Director Japan of Enterprise Ireland, Mr. Neil Cooney.
PERSOL WORKS DESIGN CO., LTD., (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshinori Hirabayashi; hereafter referred to as ‘PERSOL WORKS DESIGN’), is a company in the PERSOL Group of comprehensive human resources services, which is involved in BPO and helpdesk or call centre outsourcing sector. PERSOL Group is one of the largest comprehensive human resources services companies in Japan.
PERSOL WORKS DESIGN plays a key role in lifelong learning, upskilling and reskilling. The organisation plans to optimise the talent evaluation and recruitment system for Japanese society through providing ICDL programmes.
President of Persol Works Design, Mr. Yoshinori Hirabayashi, said at the signing ceremony, “In Japan, we aim to have 60,000 candidates take the test over the next five years, and to gain recognition as a qualification that can objectively assess digital skills.”
