Employees’ Provident Fund, commonly known by the acronym EPF is a federal statutory body under the purview of the Ministry of Finance. EPF manages the compulsory savings plan and retirement planning for private sector workers in Malaysia.
EPF launched the Digital Literacy Assessment with 1,200 employees nationwide held between 3 – 5 December 2018. ICDL Compass was used as the official digital assessment tool to examine the employee’s digital skill gaps and identify their baseline of the digital proficiency at the workplace.
The programme received positive feedback from participants as it allows them to know their level of digital skills and competencies, compared to the national and international standards. Majority of the participants hopes to see more digital skills training programs offered to them through their employers’ and organization.
The sessions were supported by UiTM Private (INTEC) and a report of the participants’ performance will be presented during EPF board meeting in end December 2018.
