ICDL Asia is pleased to announce the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between ICDL Asia and NCC Education (NCCEDU). The signing parties are Mr. Allan Norton, Chief Operating Officer of NCCEDU and Mr. Damien O’Sullivan, CEO of ICDL Foundation.

The MOU signifies the start of a collaboration between the two certification bodies to offer complementary programmes to vocational schools and universities in Asia. For a start, ICDL will be offering the Computing module to be mapped into NCCEDU’s Diploma in Computing for recognition and exemption. Students who has completed ICDL’s Computing module will gain credit exemptions towards the diploma programme offered by NCCEDU.

The primary target market identified are Malaysia, Thailand, China and Cambodia. ICDL Asia and NCCEDU will be working together in joint market development efforts to outreach to colleges and universities in these markets. Both parties share a common mission to improve an individual’s future prospects and opportunities by providing quality qualifications that are widely recognised and valued by employers and education institutes worldwide.

We look forward to a successful collaboration!
