The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Kien Giang University and ICDL Vietnam took place on October 22nd, 2020. It marks a milestone in enhancing and standardising digital skills for Kien Giang staff and students, and tightening the relationship between both parties.
The agreement was signed by Mr Pham Ngoc Tuan – Vice Chairman of ICDL Vietnam and PhD. Nguyen Tuan Khanh – Rector of Kien Giang University under the witness of representatives from both parties
Kien Giang University (KGU) was established in 2014 and regulated by Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training. The university aims to carry out scientific research, technology transfer and provide services in the field of economics and management to serve the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta region and Vietnam.
The cooperation aims to equip students and staff the essential digital skills and facilitate the use of basic IT tools, to better perform in learning/teaching, and better prepare for life, workforce and further education. The university believes that the internationally recognised IT certificate would create a competitive advantage for students and teachers in their future career.
