A talk for the final year Human Resource (HR) degree students was hosted by the UNITAR International University (Malaysia) on 25 June 2019, to build awareness on the challenges in creating a digitally skilled workforce for the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Mr. Syed Fairul Al-Mashoor, ICDL Asia’s Country Manager – Malaysia was invited to be one of the panel speakers to share his thoughts about the topic. He also shared with the students and employers how they can benefit from ICDL’s internationally recognised certification.
All the panellists emphasised and enforce on the importance of acquiring the right amount of digital skills and knowledge for themselves as future HR professionals and how they should identify the digital competencies of their future candidates.
