ICDL is now officially recognised as the standard of IT skills at Thuyloi University, Vietnam.
According to Decision No. 411/QD-ĐHTL of the Thuyloi Unviersity, students enrolling from AY2012-2022 onwards who possess an ICDL certificate will gain academic credits equivalent to the completion of the general IT subject and be exempted from course study and exams.
These students will attain a score of 10 out of 10 for the IT subject, fulfilling one of the key requirements to graduate.
To be eligible for this exemption policy, students will need to completed 2 out of 3 ICDL modules, namely ICDL Documents, Spreadsheets and Presentation. These modules equip students with critical digital competencies and prepare them for the future workplace.
