ICDL is recognized as the National Digital Standard ICT Certification in the Philippines, endorsed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the primary government body leading ICT-related initiatives. DICT mandates to plan, develop and promote the national ICT development agenda of the endorsed ICDL as the recommended ICT Certification in the Citizen’s Charter.
In close collaboration with DICT, training providers, and educational institutional networks in the Philippines, ICDL actively engages in the nation’s ICT-related initiatives, encompassing a comprehensive approach to enhancing human resource competitiveness and capacity building within the ICT sector through the ICDL certification program by establish national digital competency standards and issue internationally recognized digital proficiency certifications.
