Welcome to the ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2026!

ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2026 is a regional event conducted annually to promote the importance of digital literacy. It also serves as a platform for academic leaders, industry experts and training providers to share key industry trends and best practices of digital skills and digital learning in Asia.

Themed “Building an AI-Ready Society Through Digital Literacy”, this event will be joined by industry experts, civil servants, academic  leaders  and training providers including but not limited to the following: Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kyrgyz Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, etc

This year the ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2026 will be hosted at renowned Sunway TES College Johor Bahru and Johor Skills Development Centre in Johor, Malaysia, and Singapore Polytechnic in Singapore. During Digital Literacy Day 2026, we will also take the opportunity to announce the winners of our ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2026, Digital Educators’ Award, Digital Employers’ Awards and ICDL Asia Partner Awards 2026.

  1. The programme for Day 2 is specifically targeted towards delegates interested in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). RSVPs will be screened due to the limited venue capacity. 
  2. A digital skills workshop is being planned as an alternative option for delegates. Further details will be announced as soon as available.

Delegates who require the cross-border charter service are kindly requested to indicate their preference in the registration form. Alternatively, delegates may choose to make their own travel arrangements.
  8. Delegates are responsible for ensuring that they fulfil the entry requirements for Singapore.
  9. Delegates returning to Malaysia after the completion of Day 3 are responsible for arranging their own transportation.

Damien O’Sullivan joined ICDL Foundation as Chief Executive Officer in June 2006.  With a background in education and training, he has been involved with ICDL since its launch in Ireland in 1997, working on a range of projects to develop and deliver ICDL training and certification to the public and private sector. Prior to joining ICDL Foundation he was a teacher and school principal.
 
ICDL Foundation is an international organisation dedicated to raising digital competence standards in the workforce, education and society. Our certification programmes, delivered through an active network in more than 100 countries, enable individuals and organisations to assess, build and certify their competence in the use of computers and digital tools to the globally recognised ICDL standard.

Ms. Tina Wu is General Manager of ICDL Asia, the wholly owned subsidiary of ICDL Foundation managing ICDL Programme in all the Asia Pacific territories. She has been working with ICDL Asia since 2006, started as Business Development Executive and then Partner Relations Manager and then being promoted to General Manager in 2014. Prior to joining ICDL Asia, Tina has been working with MediaCorp News as a news reporter and INSEAD Business School as a research analyst in the InnovAsia Centre. She graduated from National University of Singapore with Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours). She is Singaporean, born in China, and perfectly bilingual with English and Mandarin.

For attendees planning to join the event physically in Johor, Malaysia and Singapore, please select the relevant event options for each of the three days on the registration form below to reserve your seat. ICDL partners will receive up to two complimentary passes for the first two days of the conference upon confirmation of their RSVP.

Two weeks before the event, you will receive a confirmation email, which you will need to present for verification on the day of the event if attending in person.

For overseas or outstation guests attending the events in Johor, Malaysia and Singapore, we highly recommend staying at Trove Hotel Johor Bahru and Quincy Hotel Singapore. ICDL Asia will provide complimentary two-way transportation between these hotels and the event venues. Dietary Preference (All meals and light refreshments provided during the event will be prepared by Halal-certified or Muslim-owned caterer.)
All food served is prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other known allergens maybe present. Delegates with food allergies need to be aware of this risk.
