NCET-Dell “Upskilling the Future Workforce for the Digital Economy” Project Seminar

The National Center of Educational Technology (NCET) and Dell Technologies jointly hosted the “Upskilling the Future Workforce for the Digital Economy” project seminar in China. The seminar was chaired by Mr. Zhao Lin, the Director of Vocational Education Teaching Resources Division at NCET and featured participation from representatives of Dell Technologies, ICDL China, and various educational institutions.  


ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2023: Accelerating Digital Literacy in Asia Wraps Up with Great Success  

The 7th annual ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day, organised by ICDL Asia was hosted this year in Singapore by the esteemed Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and virtually via Zoom. It celebrated a resounding success, drawing over 400 attendees. Themed “Accelerating Digital Literacy in Asia,” the event served as a pivotal platform bringing together civil servants, academic leaders, industry experts, and training providers from across the Asia-Pacific region.

ICDL Asia proudly announced the winners of the ICDL Asia Partner Awards 2023 during the ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day. This year, the partner awards were presented across four distinguished categories that include Premier Partner of the Year, Innovative Partner of the Year, Rising Star Partner of the Year, and Social Impact Partner of the Year.

Singapore NTUC LearningHub launches SFDW2.0 powered by ICDL

NTUC LearningHub has recently launched the SkillsFuture for Digital Workplace 2.0 (SFDW 2.0) in Singapore. It is a national initiative designed to support enterprises and equip Singaporeans with essential digital skills applicable to their personal and professional lives. With SFDW2.0, NTUC LearningHub has been curated to incorporate the latest emerging technologies so that Singaporeans can stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape and unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation.

ICDL and Hung Hau Education Foster Digital Competence in Vietnam through Strategic MOU Signing

The cooperative agreement between Hung Hau Education and ICDL entails collaborative efforts in its training implementation, exam standardisation, and certification issuance according to ICDL international standards. Selected modules from ICDL training curriculum will also be seamlessly integrated into the ICT syllabus of Hung Hau Education’s member schools, fostering alignment with global standards and enriching computer training programs.

Empowering Digital Generation: ICDL Asia Celebrates Successful Completion of Hong Kong Hackathon 2023

Hackathon 2023 witnessed a magnificent showcase of innovative ideas and a genuine passion for digital technology among Hong Kong’s students. Organised by the Hong Kong Competence Education Research Institute (HKCERI) with the support of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the two-day event, held at Cathay City and Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village, attracted 120 students and teachers from various schools in the region.

Empowering Ho Chi Minh City’s Education: ICDL Digital Student Program Sets the Path for a Tech-Savvy Future

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (HCMC DOET) organised a conference in collaboration with ICDL to support the digital transformation goals of the city’s education sector. The conference was attended by representatives from HCMC DOET, including leaders from Thu Duc City, as well as principals from 21 districts representing primary, lower secondary, and high schools in HCMC.
