ICDL Endorsed by Thailand Ministry of Education
ICDL is officially endorsed by the Thailand Ministry of Education as the digital education standard in Thailand. This recognition enables licensed educational institutions, including public and private schools, colleges, universities, and other training or educational institutes under the Ministry of Education, to offer ICDL Certification Programmes with the quality standards set by the ICDL Foundation.
Empowering Thailand Future Workforce
In alignment with the Thai government’s strategic plans for a value-added economy and the integration of digital technology into the workforce for human resource development, Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI) has been endorsing ICDL certification since 2017. This recognition establishes ICDL as the national ICT standard for workplaces.
As a significant step forward, TPQI also plays a pivotal role in administering and facilitating the assessment of competency in digital use and career standards within the digital industry, empowering students, professionals, and personnel across the country with essential digital skills. The partnership between TPQI and ICDL plays a crucial role in advancing the country’s vision of Digital Thailand 4.0, aiming for a comprehensive digital transformation. ICDL certification has become a key factor in ensuring the Thai workforce is well-equipped with the digital skills standards to meet the demands of the evolving job landscape.
In Thailand, ICDL is managed by ICDL Thailand and is delivered through a strong network of test centers and partners across educational institutions, universities, organisations and training providers.
